Abstract

The human occupation in the cities develops simultaneously to concern directed to the social-environmental questions. The objective of this study was to analyze environmental impact of urban occupation in the Permanent Preservation Areas (APP) of the Itaperu / Itapocu stream watershed, from 1940 to 2016, through the interpretation of aerial images and satellite image of RapidEye and Cbers-4. APP buffers were created in accordance with current legislation. In all years, it has been verified an improper use of the areas legally protected. From 1940 to 2016, urban growth resulted in the occupation of 6.59 ha of tree stands and, in many cases, of APP. There were an extinction of five springs and reduction of watercourses due to the advance of sugar cane, pasture, urbanized area, highway and exposed soil areas. This methodology was satisfactory for the accomplishment of micro watershed temporal analysis

Peterson Ricardo Fiorio, Escola Superior de Agricultura “Luiz de Queiroz” – ESALQ/USP

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1995), Mestrado em Agronomia (solos de Nutrição de Plantas) pela Universidade de São Paulo (1998) e Doutorado em Agronomia (Solos e Nutrição de Plantas) pela Universidade de São Paulo (2002). Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Sensoriamento Remoto, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Sensoriamento Remoto, Topografia, Geoprocessamento, Solos, Levantamento Pedológico e Radiometria. É credenciado como orientador em nível de mestrado e de doutorado no P.P.G. em Engenharia de Sistemas Agrícolas (ESALQ).
