1 RESUMO

2 ABSTRACT
We studied the tolerance to drought of three genotypes at the stage of citrus rootstocks. The experiment was conducted in a greenhouse at the UAEAg/CTRN UFCG in randomized block layout design with three replications in a factorial arrangement of treatments: (EH1: witnesses irrigated with 100% of Field Capacity (FC) throughout the experiment and EH2: irrigation limited to 50% of FC during 51 days and then 25% FC). Each experimental unit consisted of 10 plants. Every 17 days were carried measured of plant height, stem diameter and counting the number of leaves and at the end of the experiment were made in order to obtain destructive analysis of dry matter, a parameter used in the classification of genotypes. Observing the effects of water stress in citrus genotypes with the potential rootstocks on growth variables and, we highlight the genotype 2 (TSKC x CTARG - 019), with the highest averages, especially in the variable stem diameter (SD) parameter used for evaluation the rootstock. Based on the method of relative income and reference to total dry matter (FST), genotypes were classified as moderately tolerant (MT).
