<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">

<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">Palavras-chave: <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; color: windowtext;">divisor de águas, delimitação interativa, arroio Burati<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">

<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">FREITAS, E. Google Earth software is presented as an option, allowing to see the geographical area perspective and interactively define the basin. The elevations in these views are based on the SRTM DEM, whose data can be used in automatic delineation through the TauDEM software. Both procedures, interactive and automatic delimitations, were applied to the watershed of the Burati stream resulting in two watersheds with similar average deviation of 52.9 m apart, smaller than the 90 m spacing of the DEM points, concluding that Google Earth enables to properly obtain boundaries of a watershed.

<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">Keywords: <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; color: windowtext; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">watershed, interactive delineation, Burati stream<span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;" lang="EN-US">
}, number={01}, journal={IRRIGA}, author={de Freitas, Eduardo Pinheiro and Kloss, Daiane and da Silva, Isamara Rosa}, year={2012}, month={maio}, pages={97–104} }
